
Ok, so completely out of the blue last night I wanted chocolate frosting. I had graham crackers in my cupboard but they needed something more, but I didn't feel like cooking or dealing with pots and pans. So, I went to my handy dandy recipe box and pulled out a quick, no cook recipe for dark chocolate frosting!!
Ingredients:
3 Tbsps melted butter or vegetable oil
3 Tbsps unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup confectioners' sugar
Water (if needed)
Directions:
Easiest directions ever. Mix everything together in a bowl. If the frosting isn't smooth or is still dry after you've mixed it together, add a small splash of water until it gets to the consistency you want.
For a bolder flavour, instead of the water, add a teaspoon of your favourite coffee. But be careful! It's hot :P
This is great on graham crackers, cupcakes, brownies, you name it! I use it on anything I want a bit of chocolate for. :D
