Yay! I'm down to 1 week left. I have just a little bit of February and then I'm done with this phase of HcG (I'm on a 26 day program). I'm very excited to open up my options quite a bit more, not that I've had too much difficulty anymore sticking to the diet. I was even pretty good at the fancy dinner Saturday night.
How am I doing with it? I hit 20 pounds, which is the goal I set for the whole program. Since I have a week left, I figure I might as well give it my all for the homestretch. It's much easier now and I actually do get full around 500 calories. I'm also exercising 5 days a week and I feel restless on the weekends when I don't workout, but I have to study too.
So what do we do when we're past the hard part of HcG? I've been planning ahead for this specifically because I know I'm going to need to go get groceries before I'm all done. (By the way, my last grocery bill was $30. I love HcG.)
On the 26 day program, you stop taking the HcG at 24 days but maintain the 500 calorie diet for 3 more days. I read in Simeon's Protocol that this is because there is still HcG in your system and if you had even a little fat, your weight would go back up.
After day 26, you start a new 26 day program. Now you eat up to 1500 calories, but absolutely no lower than 1000. You can add the lean fats, milk and cheese, nuts, and any fruits or vegetables under the sun. There are still no's to adhere to, but let's face it, after these past couple of weeks, they're mild.
*No sugars or sweeteners (including honey and corn syrup)
*No breads or starch
*No fast food or Trans fats (which often times go hand in hand together)
The thing I think I will find most challenging is eating more calories to get up to the new amount. I also hope that I won't stop the exercising because it has improved my posture, balance, and energies so much.
Where are you at with the program? Comment below or twitter me! :D
