DIY Deviance New Experiment: Fabric Rosettes

I've been experimenting with fabrics and necklaces in my spare time, which is few and far between at this point. However, last night I really worked on it.

My first attempt was a couple months ago. I'm considering adding more chain to it or something to fill it out. It's not bad, but it's looking a little sparse.



Then last night I made another attempt. I decided I wanted to try these rolled fabric rosette things I see popping up here and there. It took a little experimenting, but I finally got a system I can work with. The necklace doesn't look good on me, so I won't be wearing it, but maybe someone else will someday. Here is the final product of 5 hours of work messing up and then finally getting it right.



I'm so pleased with it that I'm considering making a bunch more for the shop. :D We shall see! Wish me good luck at the conference! Ciao!
