I did great with HcG, lost 20 pounds and kept it off for the 26 days. However, I was a bit disheartened that no one noticed a change. Solution? Trying something else. Last week I started the Biggest Loser Workout (the original one) and incorporated both the dvd and the book together for a 30-40 minute daily workout. You are supposed to break a day in the week, but I feel guilty not doing anything, so I stayed with it. I also maintained my low calorie diet; since HcG, I still can't seem to stomach higher calorie levels and I'm just not that hungry. In a week and a half I shrunk an average 1.5-2 inches across my body, excluding hips and upper arms--the notoriously most difficult areas. I feel stronger, my breathing is much easier, and I'm seeing measurable results faster than with HcG.
Oh, and yes, I do watch Biggest Loser, but only recently. I get excited for everyone on the show, and often motivated to get up and do just a little bit more exercise before the night is through. I'm particularly rooting for Michael, who I think needs the weight loss more than anyone, having started out around 500 pounds. I do think it's a bit crazy, though, to see disappointment in their faces when they've only lost 3-4 pounds. I know they work extraordinarily hard, but any weight loss is good, no matter how little.
Other news! I have submitted my resume and cover letter to Random House in hopes of becoming a publisher's assistant. I absolutely love books and have been a collector since I was very young. I really want to break into the publishing world, so I'm applying for jobs as well as grad school programs to get my masters and to learn more about the vast field. Hopefully I find a way to get my foot in the door! *crosses fingers*

No new news from the government. We are still waiting to hear if the fiance petition will be accepted and if Ken will get back in time for the wedding. I'm a nervous wreck, so I have been trying to keep as busy as possible with homework and craftwork, specifically for the presentation rescheduled for tomorrow (bad news, though, is that I have no voice and so presenting will be interesting).
Today, I have hit 15 readers on here, which is exciting! I want to hear from you! Random comments? Relevant comments? Life in general? Doesn't matter! Leave a comment below or hit me up on twitter.
