NYC: Empire State of Packing

I am halfway to New York. Ok, I'm halfway to ready to go.

Plane Ticket....check
Hotel for arrival....check
Hotel for departure....check
20 Magazines....check

I have decided maybe magazines won't be too bad. However, I wasn't the kind of teen who actively read magazines. I never sat on my bed flipping through Cosmopolitan or Seventeen. I read books and watched films. So I went out and bought every magazine that all of the speakers for NYU Publishing Institute work at. $80 worth of magazines. Ok, some extra bridal magazines as well! (I may not really feel like a bride but it's not for lack of trying!)

I'm just waiting on the loan, which STILL has not been completed. The company says it has everything it needs from me and is waiting on NYU to confirm everything. That's nerve-wracking. It's supposed to distribute TOMORROW. Oy vey! Last thing I want, which I am dreading, is the institute's coordinator telling me to go home because nothing was paid. How humiliating!

The blog will start to resemble the London format once again. I can only take so much crafting with me as I'm working with limited space. I'm thinking embroidery or crocheting. There will be cooking, though! I live upstairs above a Trader Joe's. I have never been to one, but I hear the foods are great. Plus, the park nearby has a market every Sunday. Any Sunday I'm not in class, you will find me there!

4 Days to go and COUNTING!
