Hello from not-so-sunny New York! I finally made it into the dorm room and am settled!
I had a heck of a trip. Yesterday folks and I left at 6am to get me to the airport by 8am so I could catch a plane for 10am. I think I got 2-3 hours of sleep that night. Then I landed in LaGuardia and took a shuttle to a lovely hotel across the street from the largest and most packed graveyard I have ever seen! Seriously, the ones in London have nothing on this! Next morning bright and early I took a cab here to the dorm!
I went around the city with one of my roommates and her family. Here is some of what I saw:
Tomorrow we meet up with our groups to pitch project ideas! I have found out that I will be the Marketing Director for my group, which is odd. I know why, though. I wrote on my resume that I had made a couple of news releases. I never said they were good, though.
Along those lines, I have made a decision. I will play a role in a movie during my time here. I'm not the scaredy cat girl who doesn't talk. Instead, I'm the smart, clever, social butterfly who impresses. I'm getting a job out of this thing. lol Well, I hope so anyway. Time for homework!
